What do you want?

I have been visiting big wedding forums such as weddingbells.ca. However, I don't like the fact that they are too big.... too nation-wide to be exact. I guess many of you share this view. I would like to see a group of brides talking about vendors and things which we can find in the Lower Mainland, not somewhere in Ontario.

So, here is the forum. Let us know what you want. This is totally new and we are open to suggestions. Also, we need keen members to help as moderators.

Hopefully, we can turn this forum into the best independant wedding forum in the region and most importantly we can make it a comfortable place for brides to exchange experience and info!

I would love great vendor reviews and former-brides describing their big day. One thing on WB that sucks is that very rarely are their reviews from BC!! Even if we looked at a place and decided to go with another, it would be soo helpful to post a review of things you liked and disliked (time permitting, I know we are all very busy!).

Vendor reviews and suggestions would be great. Also, many of us are looking for the same things (ie: vases) and if we could buy in larger lots for better discounts, or show the things we're using and what would be available for others to buy second-hand after a wedding date, that would be hugely helpful!

I second the Budget Bride idea, because I am doing it on a strict budget and know how hard it is to find budget friendly suppliers and vendors.

I would like (if possible):
-tube talk section
-expecting baby section
-crafts section (maybe to go with decorations?)
-recipe swap section (maybe to go with food?)
-and IMO I think food and decorations should be 2 seperate sections

I will second the "Craft Section" or possibly a "Do It Yourself" section. Somewhere that we could post templates or links for things such as invites, etc.
