23 1 21 Reminder: hydrate that skin!

I notice there is no discussion on skin care. Just a reminder, especially to those whose weddings are getting close, that it is time to start feeding water to your skin. Hydration, hydration! I heard that there is a 28-day cycle to skin replenishment. Well-hydrated skin helps the makeup to stay on better.

Set a reminder to begin your face/eye mask routine 28 days before the wedding!

Actually, you should start NOW regardless of when your wedding is. Mine isn't until July 2007 which is well over a year away and I went out and splurged on Dermologica Products to start my skin care regime NOW so my skin is healthy in time for my engagement party, bridal shower, staggette, and any little problems I potentially could have before the wedding with my skin will hopefully be cleared up by then. I think this is really really important if you have dry (like me) or oily skin because the last thing I want as a bride is for my makeup to look cakey because my skin is so dry, and I'm sure someone with oily skin won't have time to be blotting their face all day!!

I agree, skin care is soooo important. Regardless of being a bride to be, it is definetly the one thing that i focus on in a beauty routine. I don't have problem skin of any sort, naturally, but i totally pamper my skin with high quality products and protect it from the sun. The way I look at it, It's gonna make a big difference to how I look in another 20 yrs!

A cosmetics saleslady recommended a skin peel gel to me the other day. She told me it will help to remove dead skin and reduce skin pores. Has anyone used skin peeling products?
