Thank you - that helps. Right now I'm just happy she's still breathing so she is at least getting oxygen into her. She can't eat, and they don't seem to be giving her anything intraveinously. She's so weak; the good thing is she can't reach her hand up to pull her oxygen mask off anymore!
She's just skin and bones, so hopefully she has enough energy stored somewhere to get her through. I just hate to see her suffering or in discomfort.
She's at Langley Memorial, so I've been running out there every day to see her, even if only for a few minutes. My boss was great and let me take off Friday at noon to be with her.
It sounds like your bout with it was awful too. Especially the not remembering parts. I hope my grandma can bounce back too. I know it will be hard for her given her age and poor health.
At least I have lots of things to tell her durning our one sided conversations with all my wedding planning, etc.
