Bed "Wedmares"

Any one else having "wedmares"? So far I have drempt:

1) That someone else's dj was my dj, florist, caterer, wedding planner, day of co-ordinator, photographer etc & that he was sending me pm's through this site so fast that I couldn't keep up so I just gave up... I woke up in a cold sweat panicking.

2) Last nights was about a dress that I didn't even know existed until I woke up after having a terrible dream. In my dream I had a Maggie Sottero dress - Katherine and someone spilled something on it totally ruining it. Again I woke up in a cold sweat. When I couldn't fall back asleep I looked up the dress & it is quite beautiful!

Anyone else?

I would love to share my misery with someone else ha ha ha

My "wedmares" so far...

1. That my wedding is that day and I don't have anything prepared, booked or reserved! I went around running and looking for a dress and all I found was a cheap $20 burlap sack to wear.. My fiancee was 4 hours late and we have to walk to the church!

2. That on my wedding day, my hair suddenly decided to fall out and we can't style it!

3. That the invites were not sent and no one came to the wedding!

4. That the food was not delivered and everyone got hungry!

5. That there were a few thousand guests instead of 100!

vie, you have covered almost all scenarios - from no guest to 1000s of guests, lol ! Maybe you will have a dream where there's too much food and everyone ate too much!

I didn't think the dreams would start until much closer to the day. I figure it was because I was up late talking/thinking wedding stuff, but I had a dream that I was engaged to Mr. Wright (the very first guy I ever dated, the son of one of my dad's friend's - he used to tease me that I found "Mr. Right" on the very first date. It was one date, and went very badly. Nice guy, bad match. That was about 15 years ago!!)

In my dream I was panicking on how I was going to break the news to "Mr. Wright" and then my family and friends, that I was engaged to the wrong guy. I was relived to think that my wedding planning wouldn't be wasted since I could marry FH, but then thought how odd it would seem to everyone to switch grooms... And I didn't want them to think it was an impulsive decision, I wanted everyone to know I love him! I woke up very relieved to have FH next to me.

This is the first wedding related dream I've had, but not the first dream where my mind has pulled someone from the past to cast a role. Once I had a dream that included a guy that went to my high school that I didn't even know. The next morning I checked my yearbook and there he was -my brain remembered his name and face - he was not someone I had a crush on, or hung out with or anything (and the dream was 10 yrs after grad, and it was a grad class of 500+). It was really weird.

Tongue3

Ha ha ha ladies I am so glad to know I am not the only one! I have spent that last 2 nights dreaming about beads for the bouquet I might try to make. Night one I could not find any beads after searching for hours (that's actually how I spent Thursday night then I drempt about it all night). Last night I drempt I found the beads and they were only $.01 each - now only if that would come true!!

I actually had a dream that I was pregnant the othe night and that the baby had dropped & my water had broke. This all occured the night that one of my bridesmaids went into labour - scary eh? I am wondering if I am psyschic or just psycho!

Isn't it scary when a dream comes true? The night after my "Mr. Wright" dream, I woke up in the early morning after a dream that my grandmother had died. That evening my mom left an urgent message for me to call her. When I finally got a hold of her she said Grandma was in the hospital and I should go see her right away. I'm not sure what scared me more, that Grandma's hospitalized or that I had a dream about it before I knew!

I'm actually a bit mad at my mom, although I haven't said anything. Grandma was admitted Tuesday morning around 6am, my mom got to the hospital around 7am, and she didn't call me to tell me until Thursday night at 6:30 pm! Not sure why it took her 3 days to tell me!!

So far my dream hasn't come true, but it doesn't look good for Grandma. Double pnemonia and short shallow breathing. She is hallucinating from lack of oxygen and can barely speak. She's bounced back so many times; I swear she has more lives than a cat, so I hope there is still a few more to go...

I will keep my fingers crossed for you. I had pnemonia like that last spring & ended up in the hospital for 10 days & off of work for 8 weeks - mind you I didn't tell anyone about the hallucinations until after the fact or ask to go the the Dr until I was starting to feel better as I was too sick prior to that. All I did was sleep and I didn't eat for 3 weeks.

There was about 3 weeks prior to going to the hospital that I cannot remember my life.... My favorite part was when I came to driving one day about 8 blocks from home wondering where I was going. My dreams during that period were unexplainable.

It was a long road and an even longer recovery it would take me 15 mins to get up the stairs to my bedroom I would have too sit down every 3 - 4 stairs for a few minutes to get my breath back but a few months afterwards I was back to "normal" me.

If your grandma is anything like I was bring her, her own pillow and a water based (not vaseline as it's flammable) ointment (and some q tips) that she can put up her nose as they oxygen will dry her nose right out and lead to bad nose bleeds. Oh slippers are nice too!

If I think of anything else that can help I will let you know.

P.S. I am assuming she lives by you and is at Peach Arch which is where I was & they were great to me -

Thank you - that helps. Right now I'm just happy she's still breathing so she is at least getting oxygen into her. She can't eat, and they don't seem to be giving her anything intraveinously. She's so weak; the good thing is she can't reach her hand up to pull her oxygen mask off anymore!

She's just skin and bones, so hopefully she has enough energy stored somewhere to get her through. I just hate to see her suffering or in discomfort.

She's at Langley Memorial, so I've been running out there every day to see her, even if only for a few minutes. My boss was great and let me take off Friday at noon to be with her.

It sounds like your bout with it was awful too. Especially the not remembering parts. I hope my grandma can bounce back too. I know it will be hard for her given her age and poor health.

At least I have lots of things to tell her durning our one sided conversations with all my wedding planning, etc.
