Dress problems -- freaking out now!

I'm a small person but I've noticed lines (or creases) on the back of my dress when I'm wearing it (it's supposed to be smooth). The dress isn't too tight on me, it actually should be brought in a bit. The lines make it look really, really bad.

I don't know what to do about it. I've thought about maybe putting a sash around it or getting it converted to lace-up. Has anyone had the same problem? What did you do?

Has anyone here experienced an intense dislike for their dress? Am I the only one?! I almost want to scrap this one and get a new one that doesn't have this problem! Arrrgghhh.

Could the lining be causing the creasing? Have you tried taking it for alteration? Ask your friends to take a look. Perhaps the creases only appear as you turn around to look at the back of your dress!

Hi, I appreciate the response. It definitely creases. I think it's due to the bodice. I guess I'm looking for recommendations for a good place to get the dress altered at this point. The place I got the dress from doesn't do them. I've called around to various tailoring shops and they've all said they don't normally do wedding dresses.

I'll keep checking the alteration thread. Otherwise, I'd love to know if anyone else has had the same problem, and what they did about it!

I'm small too- and my dress isn't skin tight but i have a little bit of creasing at the back too. I don't mind it though. If you aren't happy i'd find someone to alter it for you. How about calling other bridal stores for their alteration/steamstress person.

I know quite a few brides on here have gone to Charm Wedding Design on Boundry & Hastings, I don't know if that helps or not....
good luck!
