Tell Me My maggie came was ordered in the wrong color

Ok other brides, I don't want to be a bridezilla, but my maggie sottero that I ordered 4 months ago just arrived. I was so excited until I called for my inspection. They told me that my beautiful maggie arrived and the mocha color was just beautiful....I ordered it in light gold. When I told them I spent a lot of time on hold.....then they scheduled an appointment when the manager would be in. My wedding is 2 months from today...so what should I do? Tomorrow is my dress inspection....and I already know that it has failed. I am torn between just taking the dress and being grateful that at least I have a dress, or going postal on them as I actually ordered this dress because of the color...What would you do?

My advice

If its the dress that you love then try to work out a deal... maybe a discount for the mistake? This is not what you ordered.

Banana Dress Issue resolved

So I just got back from my fitting a day ago and it went great! The store showed me the Mocha dress, which is quite dramatic and beyond lovely. They put me into it and it was a bit big (I was measured for an 18 but that was 1 month after having my baby) I ordered the 14 even though I was told that I should really order the size I am not the size I want to be....well now a 12 would fit better as my corset was laced all the way closed. So they offered me the same dress in the light gold in a twelve which would be in in plenty of time for my wedding. I sat there looking at the two dresses, and do you know what? I took the mocha one hands down. It is quite a bit darker than light gold and with an ivory lace overlay the mocha makes the detail in the lace just pop off of the dress The store (the bridal gallery) was really great when this happened. I have in the past had many of the same customer service issues with this shoppe as other brides, but when I needed something fixed, they went out of their way to make it right as the manager worked hard before my appointment to source a light gold dress so that it could be changed. In the end, I know that I will be glad of the choice. Extra bonus points is that the brown will hide dirt smudges and with two kids at the wedding I will likely have one food covered hand grab for me
I think that they should stock a dress in this color for a sample as I bet many other women would like it.

So my maggie sottero Treasure in Mocha and Ivory is happily hanging in my closet and awaiting me to finish boot camp so that it can be altered
