Hello All,

My fiance and I are about to book UBC Boathouse as our Banquet Venue. It's a considerably new venue, does anyone have any experience of it?

I am also concern about decorating the place. How much is a reasonable price for decoration? Would $500 be too little?

Haven't actually been inside, but have seen pics on their website.
We considered having our reception there as well.
Have no experience with decorating, but I think it looks like such a beautiful venue and the view would be amazing, that little would be required in terms of decoration, other than just centrepieces etc. Good luck.

I have been to two galas at the boathouse and believe it is a fantastic facility. The setting is very unique and showcases beautiful mountains through the glass dining hall. There are no pics on thw ebsite of the mountains but would have to say they are the perfect backdrop for an event or photograph sessions.

ARG, our wedding is in 2 weeks and the BoatHouse haven't received their ceremony chairs yet !!! We're going to follow up with them on the 15th and they better have them !@!@!....
