Wow, we're just starting to plan our wedding and just looking at that list overwhelms me! I understand now how brides get so stressed!! I wanted to have our wedding at Robson Manor but was told they no longer do weddings.

I wish there was some way of 'searching' for all the sites that meet certain requirements. For example, we'll have about 120 guest, want to use our own caterer and liquor as well as having a facility that's air conditioned (or at least cooler as our wedding is in the middle of August). So it would be nice to see all the places that are like that. Oh well, I guess I'll spend tonight slowly working through your listing. Wish me luck!!

It would be nice to have a table showing all the detailed information of every venue, wouldn't it! This can be done if everyone could provide some information on their venues. But first, let's decide what interests us the most:

- No. of guests the venue can accommodate
- rental cost
- allowed to bring own caterer?
- allowed to bring own liquor
- air-conditioned?

Please add to the above list any other items you would want to know about a venue.

Juggle Beautiful Wedding Venue
I went to a wedding reception on the weekend at an art gallery in Vancouver called Autumn Brook Gallery. It was a beautiful setting with the artwork on the walls, and the Italian buffet dinner was delicious. I'm thinking of using the gallery as my reception venue. Does anyone else though know of any other art gallery in Vancouver that allows wedding receptions? The Vancouver Art Gallery is a nice setting but the reception spaces don't have artwork and the rent seems a little too expensive for what I would be looking for.

Does anyone know of a venue that would be appropriate for about 10 to 30 people? Everything seems to be more geared towards larger groups.

Whereabouts?

I'd look into maybe finding a gorgeous bed and breakfast or a nice restaurant.
