Question

You know how after the ceremony, the couple & their maid of honour & best man sign a book, is this book something the marriage commissioner provides?

Do we actually just sign the marriage certificate and it goes "into" a big book to make it look nicer? Hmmmm

I am so surprised I had not thought to ask this until now.

Any help is appreciated!

Good Luck

I think you sign two doc at your wedding. One is the "Marriage License & Registration of Marriage" form and the other is the Marriage Registry (the book you mentioned). I guess the book will be prepared by the comissioner and you get the form after you pay the license fee.

Now I am worried about the pen!

Thanks Honeybee, I was really surprised with myself when I thought of it today, hmmmm now I am wondering if I need to get a nice looking pen, I know photographers typically take pics of the couple signing the book and I don't want an ugly bic in my hand -
