Tell Me Tables....

Hello all!

I hope everyone is well & I am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things! My p.c. crashed last week & I lost all the planning I had done so far so I am going off memory - which I am losing ha ha ha.

I got the guest list done again, thank god I am anal and had done up our give aways already so I had a list of everyone's names, however I am trying to figure out seating and I was hoping someone could help me.

How many people can you fit at a 5' round table?
How many people can you fit at a 6' rectangular table?

If anyone knows it would be appreciated

Nevermind Me...

Not to reply to my own post but I have answered my question...

It all depends on the size of the table

5' round fits 6
6' rectangle fits 8

Ok I will go back to my corner now

Don't mean to be picky but for the rectangular table, I assume you will have 4 people seated on each side (along the length)? That means each person will have 18 inches of space. Would that be a bit crowded?

Talking

Easy, just line up 4 dining chairs at home and see whether they measure more than 6'. May be you can put 4 persons each side... I agree that it would be very crowded.

Tables

You have 3 on each side & 1 on each end - I am trying to figure out who is short to put on the end so that people aren't bashing their knees on the legs of the table...
