I am looking to hire a wedding planner for my wedding in June. Just wondering if anybody can recommend anybody? For brides that hire or have hired planners -what are you looking for? How much does it cost? Is it worth it?

We are using Fuego Events. Erin is great - she is helping me as much as I want and not being pushy to do more than I want. She is doing my flowers and decor set up and tear down so I don't have to wry abuot it. Her prices were really comparable with everyone else I met with but she was by far the coolest!

I'm using Elaine Pedersen of Keep It Simple Weddings. She is a Member of the Wedding Coop.

She has the best ideas, is really easy to speak too, has a great team of people she works with and a introductory offer on until the end of January 2007 for $150 day of help services. She is planning my entire wedding and has hooked me up with other members of the wedding co-op who have equally awesome rates for a budget bride like me. I have never felt so comfortable or more reassured that my wedding is going to be great!

Ditto - I am using her for my May wedding! Kerry is great, I would recommend her in a heartbeat!
