Just popping onto both bords - Name KrissDani (aka Dani) location Langley, Hobbies- latley seems like flipping houses!!! 6 mos to go till our wedding (OMG scares the bejezsus out of me) Having bridmares regularly and can't wait for the big day!!!

Hi everyone, great idea for a lower mainland site!

Anyway, my name is Jenn and my wedding date is April 29, 2006. My fiance and I both just moved here from Edmonton. I've always lived there, whereas he's originally from here. Our wedding is in West Vancouver and our reception is at Grouse Mountain.

I'm really excited about being here. Everytime I would come to visit I would hate leaving. It's a very beautiful place!!

I was reading what you were saying about coming here and not wanting to leave... haha and honestly when I go visit my family in Calgary or in Saskatchewan I feel that way too... certain places are just "special"

Hey everone,
I've been on Weddingbells for about a year now and finally transferred over here!!! Love the board for just us BC'ers!!!
FH name is Randy and our date is August 18, 2006. We started planning the wedding around the new year, but he finally officially asked (with the ring!) last wednesday (March 15). So yay! I'm officially a fiancee!!
We're getting married at Queen Elizabeth Park with dinner at Seasons Bistro (for about 25 people) and then the cocktail reception for the rest of the guests will be at the UBC medical student and alumni centre by VGH!

Glad to be a part of this new forum!

Jennieb75: I love the idea of having cocktails at the UBC medical student and alumni centre...another friend had her's there and the atmosphere was so fun! And, there are pool tables there - so cool. She had lit candles everwhere and it was stunning.

Hey Everyone!

I just recently signed up at WD and found a link to this site so I thought I would check it out. I just recently moved to Vancouver (about 3 weeks ago) from Calgary so Im not to sure with everything in the area and am hoping this site is of help.

Josh and I met on line October 31, 1998. Became a couple June 13th 1999 at the tender ages of 15 and 16 and got engaged October 22nd 2001 (at 17 and 18). We had originally set a date for a year and a half later but we figured we were too young and honestly, it was for the best. We have both grown so much as individuals and our relationship is more solid then ever. Late last year we decided on July 7th 2007 as our wedding date and as you can imagine, I am ecstatic! We havent started planning yet, but I look forward to getting down to business with planning at the end of April after my future hubby is done with exams.

I look forward to get to know you ladies!
