Hi Everyone!
I just had my wedding a week ago and wanted to share my experiences with any brides planning to get married in the Langley area. I have to say I have absolutely no complaints and would recommend all of the people listed here in my review. Let me know if you would like any more info on any of these vendors.
Ceremony: Milner Chapel (Langley on 216th near Glover) - Quaint little classic white chapel seating about 80. Dorothy is a pleasure to work with and will also take care of details the day of and offer suggestions during your rehearsal.
Reception:The Bedford House Restaurant (Glover Rd in Fort Langley) - Great location on the river, excellent food, great service and they will also set-up and take down your decorations. Dana was very accomodating and flexible during the whole planning process and took care of any little hiccups along the way. I would highly recommend them.
Dress & veil: Action Liquidators (Renfrew and 1st in Vancouver) - very affordable and I found my dream dress there. Irma was very helpful.
DJ & MC: Jeff at X-treme Custom Sound - very good ability to read the crowd. He got some people on the dance floor that I didn't think would ever dance. Also listened to our suggestions and played songs we had specifically asked for.
Cupcake Wedding Cake: Sweet Retreat - Jenni made the most adorable pink and green gerbera cupcakes for us and delivered as well.
BM Dress: Davids Bridal. Off the rack selection good. You may need to go to a second location to get the right size and colour so make sure to leave early.
Photographer: Inpoint Creative - Can't rate Ray for finishing product just yet but so far so good. Excitedly awaiting the samples
Tuxedos: Black and Lee (Langley off of 200th near Willowbrook) - Totally painless. We were actually able to pick the outfits up a week early with all the alterations done (although I hear early pick-up is not standard)
Hair and Make-up - Euphoria Hair Salon (Langley on 88th and 216th) - Tania did a great job on our hair and Emily did wonderful airbrush make-up. Both ladies were willing to come in a half hour before the salon opened on a Saturday to do our make-up in time.
Good luck to all of you brides. All the stress off planning will be well worth it in the end!!!
