SUNBLOCK!!! :P don't want to burn and be all peely.

Flip Flops....
Mini first aid kit....
Hmmm trying to think of less common things..

OH! I know! how about a notebook so you can keep a "journal" of your honeymoon, and then when you come home you can make a "weblog" entry and share some of your adventures with us!!

(how can we tell I'm in need of a holiday???)

Oh my goodness you must be soo excited! The 24th is SO CLOSE!!!

Heh, We think alike.....funny thing is I always take a journal. We went to the Dominican Republic 1.5 years ago and I brought a journal then. Its so great. I am actually going to take the same one because I only used about 1/4 of the book.

I will make sure to weblog it when I get back.

When I went to mexico, a friend suggested I take 2 bathing suits (as if one isnt hard enough to find!) ...that way you can wear one one day, wear the other one the next...and not worry about wearing a wet swimsuit. I couldn't find a second one, but it was a good suggestion b/c it felt kind of icky wearing a wet one.

Other than that:

bathing suit wrap thingy (if want)
sunscreen
sunglasses
deodorant
camera
journal
toothpaste/brush
(shampoo/soap usually provided, or take your own)
imodium for 'upset stomach'- you might need this and its super expensive there!
aspirin
lock (most places have those little safes in your room, but I personally don't trust those - heard some stories abt them-and brought a combination lock, so I could stick my passport etc in a makeup bag thingy and lock it...anal - yes!)

Yay, you're wedding is coming so close!!!

Funny you say that because I had no problem finding 4 hahaha. Yes I am taking 4 bikini's with me and I even have a cause for each of them:

Camoflauge Bikini - extreme water sports
Regular Bikini that i can tie tight - for water polo and water volleyball
tiny black bikini - sun tanning
Bikini with a less revealing top - for going on outings into the city.

Hehe I know I am cray but I love bikini's!

lol- that's awesome! Bikini's are the hardest thing for me to find - the tops never fit me right. I actually got one custom made for Mexico - pricey but I was super happy with it. Just couldn't dish out the $ for a second one...although I REALLY wanted to This summer, Im gonna find atleast one more - thats my mission!

How exciting ... you must be getting so psyched!!!! It won't be long now that you will be basking in the sun drinking fruity drinks .... ahhh .... too bad mine is still over 3 months away!! Have fun ... maybe bring thermal mugs for your drinks ... they stay colder that way and are a lot easier to take with you around the resort??

When is your honeymoon? Congratulations by the way.

yeah, my only advice is to wear sunscreen and get a base tan otherwise, once you sep off the plane they'll know you're from Canada! haha

The stuff that worked the best for me is a self-tanner called Fake Bake. Its all over the internet but I bought mine from www.bronzedbeauty.ca which is located in Edmonton if you ever get a chance to go there.
