hi,

my fiancee and I are from New York. We both absolutely love British Columbia and are planning a destination wedding there for next year (aug '08). we will be in BC this Oct. 16-21 and we plan to hit a lot of venues...specifically in Whistler.

we are on a tight budget and are looking to have a casual/small wedding with only about 40-50 attendees. our budget is around 10-15k USD.

can anyone give us some ideas/advice as to what venues would be able to accomodate us, photographers we should check out, etc... bascially since we arent from the area, we dont even know where to start.

also... please feel free to let us know if you think we are being overly-optimistic of even being able to have a wedding in whistler on our budget.

Hello, there is this place just a few minutes outside of whistler. It looks stunningly beautiful, and you can book the whole lodge for a small wedding. Check it out! I think for a small wedding, your budget is quite reasonable.....
