Hi Peachy,

I noticed you are getting married @ the UBC boathouse. The photos on their site look great, but I cant' find any info re: capacity. How many guests are you having? Did they tell you the capacity of the room? (I'm going to have 100-120 at our weeding..=-0 )

We are having about 90 all together, I belive he said capacity is 120 people

To really get a feel for the venue go take a look I promise you wont be disapointed

I'm so glad to have come across this forum and across your posting. We were looking into the ubc boathouse and lucked out. We too have now booked with the ubc boathouse but for ceremony only in aug 2007. The place is amazing isn't it? Are you having your ceremony on the dock or in the hall? Last time I spoke with rena, she mentioned that they may be bringing in some charges for a charge...alot cheaper than renting them from other chair rental places.

Hello Ladies,

I just visited UBC boathouse this weekend and spoke to Rena.

The chair rental is $2 each, the table is $8 each sits 8

The max capacity of the boathoue is 192.

But others have mentioned that the real figure is around 180 for sitted comforably.
