Help1 Budget Question

Posted this on WB too!

How much are you budgeting for reception venue decor and flowers? I am in the process of interviewing decorators for the reception and possibly getting them to purchase the flowers for me and my wedding party but not too sure on what is an average budget for this sort of thing. I can’t do the DIY thing when it comes to decorating, not enough time.
Help anyone?

Good Luck

Your decorating and flower budget depends on what you want and need for your wedding. I have spoken with three decorating companies and have found that prices range from $1400-$3000+. The decorator I chose told me that on average $1500-$2000 is spent on wedding decorations including flowers. It is best to hire someone who can take care of both your flowers and wedding decor.

If you only require chair covers you will spend even less. You can find chair covers for as low as $4.50/each.

Take your time looking for a decorator. Don't rush into anything. It is important that you chose someone who you can trust and have good communcation with.

Good Luck!

WKR designs

We are using WKR designs and he was really good at settting up something with the budget we gave him (2000$ including all decorations and flowers). When you know what you want and what kind of budget you have a good decorator should be able to make it happen. He may let you know how you can save by picking cheaper flowers or vases ect.
Hope this helps!

When we were ging to hire a decorater I got some price quotes and they were all within the 1200-1500 dollar range. That is for someone to come and do your set up and take down, chair covers, decorating, centerpieces etc. It did not include my bouquets and other flowers.

Hi I hope your wedding was amazing.

I am wondering what decorator you went with, what was your experience with them and were there any hidden added costs, as well as the total cost.

Thanx so much
