WOW! That is fantastic Goodtoglow!!! Your decor sounds AMAZING!!!!

Do you know if the glow cubes are reusable? If so.... would you be interested in selling them after your wedding? I still have 15 months to go before mine, but I REALLY want to get these little glowing lites for my centerpieces. (Pink in particular)

If you're interested, please do let me know, or if you are going to place another order or need some more to meet your minimum required, feel free to let me know!!! If you like, my email is wwlanab1@yahoo.com

I was wondering if you were still interested in ordering them. Looks like you got a fantastic deal; if you're going to be ordering more, and would be interested in letting a couple of us in on the package, I'd *really* like to get these through you.

So far I've only found them for the $6.99/pair price - and would love to get a better cost than that.

I've pm'd you.

I will see about ordering some more. Luckily there is no minimum. I ordered it through my work from Funworks http://www.funworks.com Remember I could only order them in the multi-color. They have to be ordered in bulks of 48, so if someone wants to arrange with anyone else the amount of Pails of 48 they need, plus arrange to bring the money to my work/pick them up, I am sure I could get them ordered for you as well. I work near the Ikea in Coquitlam at Woody's!

The rainbow ones work perfectly for me - those are the ones I have a pair of already and their great.

I can do a full pail of 48 myself, I need 35 but a few more will easily be put to use. I work just off United Blvd in Coquitlam and travel right by Ikea every day so that would be an easy trip for me. Just let me know the details when you know if you can get more in.

If there's anything you're looking for, just let us know - it's great if we can utilize our various contacts to help eachother out.

Icecream

Are they battery powered? If so, can the batteries be replaced. I can see that the resell value of these things could be very high. I bet that many brides in this forum would like to buy them off you after your wedding!

That is so exciting!!! Cynna, I would order some with you as well... Goodtoglow has stated that there is no minimum though so that's awesome!!!

When you guys say "rainbow" does that mean they change color? Or that there are a bunch of mixed colors per bucket?

I am really interested in having clear or pink lights... but perhaps rainbow would be fun as well..... What do they look like? I think I"ll go check out the site that you posted!

These seem to be the same one's I'd originally mentioned getting from the liquor store, and yes they change colour.

There's a little button on the bottom, and it flicks on and off, and each time is a different colour. Red, green, blue, pink, amber, white, mix are the different ones, iirc. plus the last option has them flickering between different colours. So you can set it on to a particular colour.

As for the battery, it's different ones that have the replacable battery option. These ones are disposable (which is too bad), and last many hours...there doesn't seem to be a definitive 'life' to them, but I think 12 hours is a good safe minimum (when continuously on). We still want to do a test, putting one in water and turning it on and seeing how long it goes for when it's left on continuously.

I believe Cynna is exactly right about the settings.

I think they are battery powered. I won't know much more until the order comes in, hopefully this week. I'm going to have 144 of them, so I probably will end up selling most of them after the wedding (I'll probably keep 20 or so, just because they are super cool).

If you girls want to chat a bit and come up with a number of how many you would like, I can order them. Remember they come in quantities of 48, however you want to split it up is fine, you just have to order in bulks of 48. Since Cynna works right by me, we could probably meet up and I could give them to her (I work at Woody's, in the beer store, I'm sure you know where that is Cynna!)

I am also so excited for my Bodhi Leaf Flower Lights! Here is a link to them in White but I ordered them in Purple: http://www.dharmacrafts.com/105xBS/2...ng-lights.html They cost about $30-$40 and I got 12 for $212. They also make Rose Lights (I snagged this pic from a WB'er)

Those are gorgeous, great idea! As for the cubes it would be awesome if they were the replaceable battery type - I hate the idea of just throwing things away - but if they're like the ones I have they are disposable. I'll keep my fingers crossed on them.

And I just realized you and Chuckerboo aren't getting married for a whole year - you both are so ahead of planning it's unreal! We got engaged in January 2005, but all I did last year was figure out the venue, food, and music. Good going girls!

Hehehe I'm actually kinda backwards... I've started doing my centerpieces, my invitations etc and I don't even have a venue or a definite date yet!!! :P

FH and I are going to meet with a planner this weekend and see a venue, so hopefully very soon I will have some REAL progress!

Alright ladies!!! The cubes came in to my work today! BUT the order was a bit mixed up, good and bad. I need to know ASAP if anyone is interested or if I should send them back. This is the deal:
1. All the lights are BLUE - but regardless of your wedding colors, I think they will look fabulous, they just give off a great glow. They blink fast, slow, or stay solid. Wherever you use them, it will look like ice (wish I could take a pic but I am at work now so I don't have my digital camera. I will post a pic in the morning from home!)
2. They are in packs of 3. I was sent 150 packs of 3, not 150 single cubes!!! The price is $4 for 3 cubes. This is cost, not as big of a deal as he said but still! Remember that they retail for $7.50 for 2 at many places, this is only $.33 more than I had originally expected!!

So, any takers? I have 300 extras. That means 100 packs of 3. No one has to buy them all, even if you want 16 packs of 3, to make 48 cubes, it would cost $64. I'm not sure about tax yet, I think the price doesn't include tax. Basically, a 3 pack costs $4.56 with tax compared to a 3 pack retail which costs $8.55 with 14% tax!!

Email me at goodtoglow@gmail.com by Friday at 9am if you are interested and with how many and when you will come pick up (I live in the Coquitlam Center area, can meet at Braid or Lougheed skytrain or around my work Brunette @ Lougheed or school, Douglas in New West). Sorry for the urgency, I owe my work the money and need to know how many I should send back!!

P.S. I am so excited about them!!! I was so happy when I came to work tonight and saw the giant box filled with them!

Here are the pictures!!!

And I will be using 6-7 ice cubes for each centerpiece to achieve this kind of look:

Wooo they're so pretty!!! Have you had much response on selling your blue ones?
I think I'm still set on the pink ones if it won't get you into trouble ordering more and if Cynna is still going to be ordering some....
Either way, just let me know, no pressure!

I've had an enormous response for the blue ones! In fact, I have 10 too little so it's basically first come first serve for the light cubes now!!! Originally the guy was supposed to send me multi colored cubes so to be honest I am not sure if he even has pink left. I can call and find out though still!

Glad you were able to get rid of the blue ones - I was worried for you there. (our colours are green and white, so unfortunately blue wouldn't have worked for us)

As for not having pink ones, Chuckerboo should be able to set the changable multicoloured ones onto pink.

I'm still in for ordering a 'bucket' of them when that order is placed - can't tell from your last post if that's changed or not - are you still going to be placing another order?

Sorry I didn't get back to you Cynna. I think the supplier only had Blue available, because I was originally looking to get pink or white. I could check in a few months to see if he has other colors in yet, but I don't know how that will work for you, I'm not sure when your wedding is. The price wouldn't be as cheap either, he gave me a super deal for the blue ones. =)

Ok so I posted ahead of reading all of the posts! Yay me for being dumb. I don't know if you have any of these cubes left or if you have been able to send them back but I would like to buy them if you have not yet. It would be major appreciated! My colours are blue and believe it or not this colour seems almost impossible to find. Anyways either way let me know , please and thank you.
