I hope this is the appropriate location to file this thread. I'm looking to you ladies for some help in suggesting places to find wedding-related hairpins, hair clips, silk flowers, head bands etc...anything but tiaras, as I've decided I'm not a tiara girl (i know...I know...it's THE occassion to wear it but I just can't see myself with one!). Any information you can provide will be much appreciated!!

I just picked up some hair pins at the new wedding store in Fleetwood called Ruby Bridal. They had several different ones, as well as TONNES of cute accessories!! They were super reasonable as well

I bought my hair pins at Claires....I looked every where for what I wanted (rhinestone barattes) but I could only find them at Claires....I would just check out their prom section....you may be surprises!

I will probably buy my hair accessories at Claire's too. It's really affordable (most of the time), and if you wait until prom season is over, you can probably get some of the stuff (gloves, hairclips, tiara's, etc) at discounted prices.

I actually saw garters there the other day. They were for prom, with a little metal "Prom 06" tag on it, that you could easily cut off.

I decided to go with a flower in my hair. I ordered it on ebay. I was so impressed it looks way better in person then the picture.
Here it is. I got it for 7.00u.s (including shipping) not bad I thought...
