Good DJ? - Vancouver Wedding Forum

I am trying to find a DJ to play in a medium size reception hall in Lanlgley. They would need all their own equipment. I'm trying to keep it under $600 for approx 3 hours. I'm considering Anything Audio. Has anybody used them before?

Hello. I highly recommend getting Ryan Brendy from GROOVIN 'N' MOVIN DJING SERVICES.
His price is amazing low compared to all the rest. I paid 550.00 and he's unlimited hours you decide how long you need him at just the one cost. He includes the use of amazing lights shows (even a strobe light machine), bubble machine, cost of travel and more in this price. I do know that he was changing his prices so please don't quote me on this price I booked him a few months ago so he could of changed this price already.

The golf course that i'm getting married at refered him to me and a friend of mine is a wedding consultant and also has used him. Positive feedback always has been left from his djing. Hope this helps.

hello VIE. I talked to Ryan and he is currently on his Honeymoon. He said his website was under construction and should be up running now. Hopefully he said, because there were some problem. You can email him and he'll respond once he is back. Bye for now.

I actually just hired my DJ today. His name is Anders, we were really impressed with how organized and helpful we is. He was really friendly and he had tons of information and suggestions about planning the music for the wedding. He charges $500 for the evenning, which I thought was a bargain because he was so professional and helpful. I kept telling him I found on this site, but I guess I found him on Craig's List (all this wedding planning stuff is starting to make me frazzled ), because the e-mail I have for him is serv-192631592@craigslist.org. Oh well, he's on the site now I guess. Anyways,we're really excited, I would definately recommend getting a hold of him if anyone is still looking for a DJ.

I just looked at his website and he has already increased his price to $695

I was hoping to only spend $600 on a DJ - back to the search!

I found out yestaurday that he increases his price. boy am i glad that i booked him when i did at 550.00. But he really is a great dj and does supply everything needed. He's definetly someone I would recommend.

Has anyone used or know of anyone that has used Music Maestro DJ Services. We are in final stages of making a decision and we were reccommended by someone to use them. I think we will go with them the price is reasonable$695 and Enzo has been good to deal with so far.
I have contacted so many I just don't know how to be sure about which one to choose. We are also looking at Ed Lee and Gary Robertson Music. I would have liked to use Hot-Wax, really nice people but way out of our budget $1195.

I also tried to get Ryan Brednzy but he was booked. I investigated Gary Robertson's but they don't reply back for days on end. I chose Hot Hit Productions and they are very up-to-date with their music library. They are affordable and easy-going. I also got extra time at a deal too. Call them: 604-439-7566. The main fellow is Ken and he will assign your DJ. I will find out how well they perform in less than 3 weeks!
